PARISH ELECTIONS  

Parish Councillors are elected for a 4 year term, and on the 2nd May 2019 all the seats on Whittingham Parish Council are eligible for election.

Existing Councillors and members of the public may stand for election, provided they are at least 18 years old and are a British citizen, an eligible Commonwealth citizen or a citizen of any other member state of the European Union.

Applicants must meet at least one of the following qualifications:you are and will continue to be, registered as a local government elector in Woodplumpton Parish


  • you are and will continue to be, registered as a local government elector in Woodplumpton Parish
  • you have occupied as owner or tenant, any land or other premises in Woodplumpton Parish during the whole of the preceding 12 months
  • your main or only place of work during the 12 months has been in Woodplumpton Parish
  • you have lived in Woodplumpton Parish, or within three miles of it, during the whole of the 12 preceding months.

The closing date for packs to be returned to the City Council is 4pm on Weds 3rd April.
